Eco-Tourism – A Grant for Humanity
A lot of you have probably heard of the word eco-tourism. It is now becoming a worldwide concept. It is enjoying nature as its best at the same time being able to preserve nature for generations to come. Most Natural resources and breath taking natural cites are being destroyed due to man's exploration and use. With eco-tourism, man enjoys these lands and resources without destroying and being able to maintain the nature.
This concept is not new. It has been there for decades. Perhaps it is only now that it is becoming popular as we are now greatly seeing the importance of preserving the environment. Since this is becoming a worldwide interest a lot of places and being considered as possible sites, a lot of governments and agencies all over the world are providing grants in financial aid to individuals or groups with eco-tourist programs.
A lot of individual are now becoming eco-tourist. They would like to visit remote places and experience the diverse culture the world has to offer. With the influx of tourist, often the area becomes degraded.
Either the local people do not have the have the manpower to maintain the place or funding to maintain the area is low or even non-existent. If you belong to one of these groups who have a project or an individual who are greatly interested in eco-tourism and would want to start a project this would be great news for you. Funds are available. They are out there. All you need to do is look.
